For getting an emotional support dog, you have to follow some procedures. You just can’t get a dog, first, you have to take an appointment from experienced & certified therapists then share all your problems like mental disorders or why you want a dog. After knowing your problems, the therapist will issue an ESA letter for you. This letter is important for registering an emotional support dog.
You need to know some main points before you register an emotional Support dog:
• Be sure about your mental disorders. In some cases, an individual fails to get to know about his issues and therapist don’t understand the actual problems and then you won’t be able to get an emotional support dog.
• You also need to gather information about the therapist. If you don’t get an ESA letter from a certified therapist then you can face trouble in the future. It is very important that you contact a registered therapist.
If you are aware of the above points then you can easily qualify for an emotional dog. You can also ask PDSC (Psychological Disability Service Center) experts for getting information regarding emotional support animals. Here, you can also issue an ESA letter. You don’t need to visit anywhere, just register online and you will get your ESA letter by email or by post.
